and X-Ray Certification

The Dental Assisting Program provides 150-hours of lecture/lab preparation and the basic skills necessary to assist the dentist in an entry level position. The dental X-ray portion of the course provides knowledge of the production and use of X-rays in addition to clinical instruction while preparing the student for X-ray certification through the National Board as mandated by the State of Delaware. The X-ray certification fee is not included in the course tuition.
