STUDENT information

Learning Format:

In an effort to meet the needs of our Students and Business Partners, where possible, we will be offering AED Programs in two separate learning Formats:

Traditional/Full In-Person- Students will be required to be In-Person for all scheduled school nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Instruction will take place entirely in a classroom and/or shop area within a NCCVT School.

Hybrid- Hybrid- A Mix of instructor-led Zoom classes and In-Person Classes.

All In-Person and Hybrid classes will cover the same curriculum and will receive the same amount of in-person, hands-on "Shop" time.

Due to our inability to forecast how COVID-19 will affect the in-person, hands-on training we are able to provide throughout the school year, all AED Programs will have the possibility of changing to a hybrid learning environment during the school year. Traditional classroom instruction will be administered either online through Schoology’s Learning Management System while incorporating a mandatory Zoom Class Meeting component and/or through a traditional in-person classroom and/or hands-on instruction component. Our ability to offer in-person and/or hands-on instruction will be completely dependent on our ability to do so while keeping our staff and students safe while practicing all health and safety guidance related to COVID-19
